Hi, my name is John, the owner of Sneaky Pete Electronics. I have been working within the electronics industry for 50 years. I have been working with Computers for 20 years of that.

Before we go any further, I am going to tell you right up front, that I am not a computer programmer, although I do understand and use programming in my work, I wanted to go in to the hardware end of this business rather than the programming end, because, after all it was the Electronics that intrigued me, not the programming.

I know that there is a world full of so called computer experts out there, but most of the people out there that claim to be computer experts are nothing more than parts changers, they know how to unplug a peripheral card , and plug another one in the slot that they just pulled that first one out of.

What they do not understand, is how the peripheral card that they just replaced works, I mean at the parts level of that peripheral card. If you look at any peripheral card that comes out of a computer, I.E. Video card, Sound card, Modem card, Net Card, they are full of parts themselves, transistors, Diodes, resistors, capacitors, IC chips, that is what I mean when I say, at the parts level of the peripheral card.

That is where I come in. I fixed my first TV at 9 years old, and fell in love with what I do right then and there, that was in 1959, and I have been doing it ever since. I not only understand how the computer works, I also understand how the parts that make up the computer work.

Now with all of that said, what is my goal going to be with this site?

It will give you a place to come when you need to have your computer fixed, or you need a new computer, or if you have need of finding a hard to find part for what ever you are working on. If I don't have it, I can usually Find it, and get it to you. So if you want or need something contact me, and give me a shot at it.
